I visited the Circle City a few weeks ago to devour the amazing cuisine the city has to offer and attend an Indy Fuel hockey game. Situated in the charming Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis, B’s Po Boy is the only authentic po boy restaurant in Indianapolis. The joint specializes in traditional creole cuisine and fresh seafood po boys.

My personal favorite, the fully dressed fried oyster po boy, makes me drool in my sleep at night. B’s uses only the freshest seafood and toppings. The po boys come topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle and mayo. A side of crispy, sea salt fries is the perfect pairing.
Oysters remind me of Christmas and the Jones family tradition of making oyster stew. I didn’t develop a liking to oysters until high school, but now can’t get enough of the seafood delicacy.
B’s also offers a wide selection of microbrews and often has the coveted Three Floyd’s Zombie Dust on draft. Yes, I said Zombie Dust on draft. If you know anything about Indiana beer, you know Zombie Dust is pretty much the Holy Grail of Hoosier brews.
Next time you’re in the Circle City, be sure to stop at B’s for a fresh seafood po boy and a pint of your favorite microbrew.
Cheers!
