Situated near the corner of Wheeling and Riverside in Muncie, Amazing Joe’s serves up burgers, steaks, chicken, and the famous Hoosier tenderloin. If you’re a carnivore, the menu will be right up your alley. For those of us that don’t eat an exponential amount of meat, the menu is lacking.

I settle on the hand-cut breaded tenderloin (yes, meat) and of course order myself a giant margarita…it was that kind of day. I enjoy my margaritas classic on the rocks with salt. No girly flavorings here! The classic drink is well-made and satisfies my thirst. Since the restaurant is within walking distance from my main squeeze’s pad, I will definitely be returning for another marg!

The tenderloin has a generous amount of breading and is well-cooked. Large enough to save half for lunch the following day, the well-seasoned tenderloin is topped with fresh iceberg lettuce, red onion, and tomato. The flavors pair well together and I am pleasantly surprised by my menu choice. Large steak fries accompany the Hoosier classic nicely and expand my stomach to an uncomfortable level. My date and I leave full and happy.

I recommend Amazing Joe’s specifically for the margaritas and Hoosier tenderloin. The menu does include a variety of appetizers that are perfect for sharing and enjoying the company of friends.
