Looking for authentic ramen in the greater Indianapolis area? For the past year, I’ve been searching far and wide for delicious ramen with little accomplishment. Well, the search is over! Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya located in Carmel provides ramen enthusiasts the authentic Japanese dish for an affordable price. Kizuki includes a cool modern vibe to enhance your dining experience complete with wood block partitions and contemporary aesthetics.

Anticipating my venture to Kizuki in Carmel, my mouth was watering all day. I order the shio ramen with a bonito base and a soft boiled egg on top (shown above). The gooey egg yolk oozes throughout the ramen bowl and delights my palette. The bowl contains noodles cooked to perfection, pork, green onion, bamboo shoots, kelp, roasted spinach, and French sea salt. This definitely isn’t the ramen you make when you’re as poor as a church mouse in college.

So if you’re like me and crave a good bowl of ramen often, I highly suggest a stop at Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in Carmel. The modern atmosphere and authentic ramen bowls are sure to bring a smile to your face this winter.
