On a frigid cold day, there is nothing better than a hot latte to warm you up. I have frequented The Caffeinery many of times and even more so since the temperatures have dropped below freezing. Specializing in gourmet coffees, loose leaf teas and espresso beverages, this local coffee shop is the epicenter of downtown Muncie and one of my favorite spots.

Owned and operated by Frank and Lauren Reber, The Caffeinery provides a place for meeting with friends and family or simply enjoying a cup of Joe while basking in your own solitude. I enjoy indulging in the shop’s signature creations and have tasted nearly the entire menu! I recommend the beehive with a cinnamon infused espresso shot, honey and vanilla. Looking for something decadent? Try the almond joy or s’mores. If you’re in the mood for a seasonal concoction, the gingerbread mocha is divine. The uber friendly and knowledgable staff can help you make the perfect selection if you are overwhelmed by the choices.

Coffee has been a staple of human kind for hundreds of years…Some even say coffee makes the world go around. Although The Caffeinery hasn’t existed for hundreds of years, the owners and staff understand the delicacy of ingredients and are masterminds of their craft. I hope you can visit this local treasure sometime soon.
